I first became acquainted with the practice of Reiki Energy Work through Debra when I relocated from Alaska to Washington State. Due to a massive infection and kidney complications, I was diagnosed with sepsis. After an emergency surgery, the prognosis was 14 days in the hospital before being well enough to go home. Needless to say, I was distraught. I called Debra and told her what was going on. She offered to do Reiki Energy Work on me. I wasn’t familiar with Reiki but was willing to try. I saw my doctor the next morning and he was impressed with my progress. Three days later I was discharged with my doctor’s approval, at least a week early.
